How do I restore my purchase?
Open ReadBorn, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Subscriptions are tied to your Apple ID, so make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
How do I cancel or get a refund?
Manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. You keep access until the end of the current period.
How do I set up profiles for more than one child?
One subscription covers up to 5 children. In the app, open the profile switcher and add a profile for each child. Each child gets their own reading level, streak, and animal collection.
How do I reset my child's progress or usage data?
In Settings you can use Reset Usage Data to clear the anonymous data collected from your device and start fresh. To fully remove all on-device data, delete and reinstall the app.
The microphone is not hearing my child
Check that microphone permission is enabled for ReadBorn in iOS Settings, under ReadBorn. A quieter room helps a lot, and you can tap any word or letter to hear it modeled first. Your child can hold the app a little closer when they speak.
Is my child's voice and camera private?
Yes. Voice is processed entirely on the device and never uploaded, and the AR camera is a live preview only. Nothing from the microphone or camera ever leaves the iPhone or iPad. See our Privacy Policy for details.
What ages and which devices are supported?
ReadBorn is made for ages 3 to 8 and up and runs on iPhone and iPad. Pre-readers and early readers who want to improve are both welcome. Android is on our roadmap.
Do I need to sit with my child?
No. ReadBorn is designed for independent reading, about 15 minutes a day. The parent Report Card keeps you up to date on reading level, streaks, and the sounds to practice next.
